R. Chris Barden, Ph.D., J.D. is a national expert in the science of coping, resilience, and performance. He works with individuals, families, and organizations to maximize health, leadership, performance, learning, and productivity.
Dr. Barden is the recipient of two national science awards and has published in the leading journals and texts in clinical psychology, child psychology, social psychology, psychiatry, surgery, and pediatrics. He has given invited addresses at Harvard Law School, Harvard College, Yale, Columbia, U.S.C., the Universities of Texas, Minnesota, Georgia, Iowa, and Washington, as well as at conventions in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, and Australia.
Dr. Barden has given invited national training addresses to the American Psychological Association, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Bar Association, the U.S. Surgeon General’s Conference, the International Assn of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, F.B.I. regional training meetings, to the international sports psychologists gathered for the 2008 Beiijing Olympics, and other groups.
